Announcement: LuNi Designs is now [ LuNi ]

:: Customers, Family and Friends – Your Attention Please ::

LuNi Designs will be changing it’s name to [ LuNi ] and while this isn’t earth-shattering news it does mean a few changes.

Over the course of this week and into the weekend, we’ll be sending you an invitation to a new group. The [ LuNi ] group will take the place of our old LuNi Designs update group.

THIS MEANS :: our new group will be used to provide you info, free stuff, pre-release items, and all the other cool things we’ll be wanting to give to our customers in the future.

OUR OLD GROUP :: will still be available to customers who haven’t received this notice and as a means to communicate info for private work and clients.  However, it will no longer serve as our store group.

I know its a pain to change groups but we’re doing this as a part of a larger change we’ll be going through as a store in Second Life and for the future. (as always, you’re free to ask for another invite if you miss this notice and/or weren’t aware of what the change of groups meant.)

Our hope was to do this earlier in the year but we’ve gone through a lot of things that have extended or delayed many of our plans in-world for LuNi.

I hope all of you know how much we’ve appreciated your support over the years. This change is to enable us to provide a solid -trusted way- to give you cool new stuff we make.

We will be adding more changes in a busy second half of the year including : a new build, new hunts, new ways to shop, new locations to shop, new ways to keep updated, and faster releases… plus cool never before released stuff for group members.  We have been working. A lot.

Whew… and just writing that last paragraph made me tired…

So be patient with us as we go through all these changes and I promise that we’ll dazzle your socks, tickle your souls, and above all else… keep you entertained.

"tattoo layers" can be seen from all graphical clients within second life, however you must be using second life’s viewer 2.x or a viewer that supports the USE of tattoo layers such as Emerald, Imprudence and Kirstens in order to "wear" them.

there are other compliant viewers but please make sure they support the "use" of tattoo layers before buying any tattoo layer in second life. (tattoo layers are not to be confused with tattoos on normal clothing layers like those worn as undershirt / shirt / underpants / pants)

New Product: At Least I’m Not A Bully

this is a cause that we feel strongly about and we hope you will join us by wearing our pink shirt on april 14th 2010. what is pink shirt day? here’s a copy pasta of some info written by december dollinger who asked us all to make something supporting this cause:

Pink Shirt Day started in a Nova Scotia high school, where a 9th grade boy was being bullied over wearing a pink polo shirt to school. A couple of grade 12 boys decided to take a stand against the bullying and wear pink in sympathy for the boy who had been so mercilessly prodded at. They went to a local discount store and bought 50 pink shirts, and distributed them amongst the other boys in their high school. They stood up for their fellow classmate and against the bullies, and made a real difference in someone’s life.

In a place like Second Life, Cyber Bullying runs rampant. In a virtual world where it is so easy to be anonymous and hide behind your pixels, many people find it the perfect environment to attack and belittle others. Unfortunately, this can lead to real life emotional distress, even to those who “disconnect” their Second Life and first life.

It is time that we all take a stand against bullying in all its forms. Why, in a community so small, should there be so much vitrol and mudslinging, when, if we band together, we become stronger?

this tshirt is inspired by some of the hurtful words i have had thrown at me though out my school years as well as my time in second life. i raise my head high though, knowing that no matter what they call me, at least i am not a bully.

more new clothes for girls!
Quinn is a design i have been craving in sl for a long time. an under bust corset, attached to a bouncy tutu style skirt. this is a naughty little number that has nothing to cover your breasts. the corset is on the jacket layer to allow the more modest to wear a top under it. tutu should fit most body shapes but is also mod in case you need to resize the skirt. Quinn comes in 6 different colours (i even made it in pink) or grab the fatpack!

Harleen is a special edition of the Quinn outfit, loosely based on the quirky character harley quinn from the batman comic book series. works great with the villianess skin.
